On a dental mission trip to Guatemala, Dr. Park watched dentists change lives with their hands — and knew he’d found his calling. He’s been giving back around the world ever since.
Dr. Park earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He began his career treating patients in Vancouver and Anchorage before making his way down to Washington State and Federal Way.
Today he still travels on mission trips — now as the dentist — bringing care to people who might never have access to it otherwise. When he’s out of the office, you’ll find Dr. Park on the soccer field.
During dental school, Dr. Seong Guy Hyung participated in community outreach through the Student National Dental Association (SNDA). She continued to volunteer with programs such as Give Kids A Smile and Special Olympics, helping provide oral health education and care to children, families, and underserved communities. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Seong Guy Hyung enjoy painting and sculpting, spending time outdoors with her loved ones, and traveling to experience new places and cultures.
Dr. Seong Guy Hyung’s love for both art and science naturally led her to dentistry. Growing up, She enjoyed painting, sculpting, and competing in 3D art competitions, so Dr. Seong Guy Hyung knew she wanted a career where she could work with her hands while helping others. A high school mentorship program gave her the opportunity to shadow a dentist and confirmed that dentistry was the right path for her. Dr. Seong Guy Hyung love that her career allows her to combine creativity, precision, science, and meaningful connections with her patients. Dr. Seong Guy Hyung truly can’t imagine a career more perfect for her.
